Contest Organisers
A Swiss Real Estate Developer and General Contractor focused on development of urban districts and smart cities. Losinger Marazzi AG is a subsidiary of the international major corporation Bouygues Construction.
SwissPropTech is the independent innovation and PropTech ecosystem for the Swiss Real Estate and Construction industry.
Participation Terms & Conditions
  • The participating startups must offer a software or/and a hardware that provides a solution for Future Living.
  • Companies must not be older than 7 years and they must demonstrate growth development.
  • The company must be able to send representatives to attend Pitching Day in Switzerland, if selected as finalist to pitch at the finals
  • Each Applicant may submit only one Competition Entry Form.
  • The company's product / technology must be suitable for one of the following areas: smart homes, flexible living, energy efficient buildings, innovative construction methods, connected community, shared living & working, functional furniture, adaptive spaces, assisted living, social hubs, mobility
  • The participating startups must be business-ready (already launched or in beta)
  • Over 50 % of the participating startup must be privately owned, in other words, belong to an individual person or the founders
  • Entries must be submitted electronically by 12th April 2019 (23:59 CET) through our website www.swissproptech.ch/futureliving .
  • There is no additional cost for entering the Competition
The Purpose
The purpose of the Future Living Contest is to promote the development of applications and solutions, primarily in the markets of energy efficiency of buildings, innovative construction methods, networked living and networked neighborhoods, mobility and much more - these topics are at the center of our considerations to be able to develop and realize projects even better! Our slogan: Shared Innovation. That's why we want to design living spaces with you that meet current and future challenges. The competition seeks innovative technologies that will be used on a real estate project in Switzerland. All submitted solutions will be valuated, with the best submissions receiving official competition award.
Companies, researchers, developers, and other individuals who are legally adults, are allowed to participate in the Future Living Contest.
Enter your product / service by 12 April 2019 using the form. The five finalists will be selected on April 26, 2019 and invited to Pitch Day on May 16, 2019. This public event takes place in the area NF49 in Emmenbrücke and is expected to be accompanied by media.
Evaluation Process
All completed submissions go through filtering by a group of experts. Judges will evaluate and rate the submissions based on the following criteria:
• Degree of innovation
• Commercial potential
• Environmental impact
• Strenght of USP
• Level of social impact
